| Defect summary | Mercedes-benz usa, llc. (mbusa) is recalling certain 2019 amg gt63 4matic and amg gt63s 4matic vehicles. A wiring harness for the automatic transmission may not be properly secured, allowing it to chafe against the drive shaft and possibly cause an engine stall. |
| Consequence summary | An engine stall can increase the risk of a crash. |
| Corrective action | Mbusa will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the mounting clips and wiring harness, and repair or replace them, as necessary, free of charge.
